The ten-part Netflix series, The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance pits Gelfling heroes against the nefarious Skeksis, as they attempt to save their world. Highlights include the Hunter Skeksis, the General Skeksis, a Fizzgig, and the All-Maudra and Seladon Gelflings, as well as a series of detailed maquettes, created by Toby Froud, which were used as models for the characters. The 45-minute tour will be led by a Museum educator, who will guide you through selected galleries of the exhibition and will include the interactive stations. ![]() Among the highlights are nearly 50 puppets including Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Rowlf, Big Bird, Cookie Monster, Gobo Fraggle, and Wendell Porcupine character sketches, storyboards, scripts, and photographs and nearly 30 monitors with video clips from throughout his career and three large-scale video installations. This new exhibition features approximately 300 objects to tell the story of how Henson and a talented team of designers, performers, and writers created an unparalleled body of work that continues to delight and inspire people of all ages.
